A historian, theoretician, and art critic. After graduating in History of Art and Culture from Trnava University in Trnava (1995–2000) worked in state collecting institutions, initially at the Small Carpathian Museum in Pezinok. Since 2007 works for the Slovak National Gallery in Bratislava as a curator of collections of applied art and design (ceramics and glass), since 2010 as a curator of collections of modern and contemporary art.
In her work, researches the history of modern and contemporary sculpture in the former Czechoslovakia and Slovakia. Collaborated in the preparation of monographic exhibitions and publications (Juraj Bartusz: Gestures/Points/Seconds, SNG Bratislava, 2010, with Lucia Gregorová Stach and Katarína Bajcurová; Jana Želibská. No Touching, SNG Bratislava, 2012–2013, with Lucia Gregorová Stach; Juraj Gavula. Vital Forms, Bratislava City Gallery, 2021, with Matej Gavula), prepared several curatorial exhibitions for Slovak regional galleries and the Slovak National Gallery in Bratislava. Explores various themes: gender studies (Women Sculptors. Selection of Significant Czech & Slovak Sculptors, SNG, 2015), institutional critique, historical reconstruction, contemporary reflection on exhibitions and exhibition practice in the second half of the 20th century (Basement '89, Expo '67 Montreal, Danuvius '68), beginnings of modern art education in the interwar period, and the development of modern ceramics (ŠUR. The School of Applied Arts in Bratislava 1928–1939, Slovak Design Centre and Slovart, 2021; collaboration on the exhibition, catalogue, and publication Have no Fear of Modernism! 90th Anniversary of the Establishment of the School of Arts and Crafts in Bratislava, Slovak Design Centre – Slovak Design Museum, 2018–2019), and art in the public space.
Regularly publishes academic studies, contributions to catalogues and monographs, reviews of exhibitions, and popularisation texts for Slovak and Czech journals (DART, Designum, Remeslo umenie dizajn, Profil současného výtvarného umění, Keramika a sklo, Prostor Zlín, Ročenka SNG, 365°, Flash Art, Múzeum, Jazdec, various daily newspapers and web portals) focusing on modern and contemporary art, design, and applied art. Member of the Slovak Section of AICA since 2013 and Secretary of the Section since 2021.
