Discover the beauty of traditional Japanese artistic techniques which blend precision and focus with creativity. During the workshop you will explore calligraphy which is the art of elegant brush writing using the Katakana and Hiragana syllabaries. You will also learn origami which involves folding paper into various shapes without the use of scissors or glue.
A central highlight of the session will be the creation of intricate Sakura blossoms which perfectly capture the delicate nature of this technique and Japanese aesthetic principles. Participants will be introduced to the foundations of both arts while producing their own unique works. This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as curious enthusiasts of all ages.
