Parking and access
Paid parking: located directly beneath Zvolen Castle. The fee of €1/day is payable at the ticket machine.
Pedestrian access: the castle is a 15-minute walk from the railway station and bus station.
Accessibility
Due to the location of the castle, wheelchair access via the entrance gate is moderately difficult. For wheelchair access to the 1st floor of the castle, the lift near the entrance gate may be used.
All information necessary for movement and orientation around the castle area may be obtained from our information personnel.
No scooters, skateboards, skates, or folding bicycles (including children's versions) are permitted inside the castle.
With the exception of guide dogs, entry to castle exhibitions with a dog or other domestic animal is not permitted. Dogs on a leash may enter the castle grounds.
Families with children
Personal belongings may be stored free of charge in lockers located near the ticket office.
Baby strollers should be left in the area near the ticket office.
Toilets are located next to café Zámocká opposite the entrance to the gallery in the castle courtyard.
Baby changing facilities are not available.

Lockers
Personal belongings may be stored free of charge in the lockers located near the ticket office.
It is not permitted to enter the exhibition area with a baby stroller, luggage, or any item that exceeds 55 x 40 x 20 cm in size or 40 cm in length.
Baby strollers should be left in the area near the ticket office.
To store larger luggage, contact our colleagues at the ticket office.
Photography
Photographs for private purposes and without flash, tripod, or selfie stick, may be taken in the exhibition areas of the castle free of charge and without a permit unless otherwise displayed for a particular work or area.

Wedding photography is permitted in the castle interior for a €100 fee, payable at the castle ticket office on the day of photography. Outdoor photography is permitted free of charge and without need of a permit.

Gallery WiFi is accessible throughout the castle grounds.
