Part of the collection display To see, to see, and to see is our Warhol app, which enables users to create their own version of Andy Warhol's iconic soup cans. The online application thematises the technique of serigraphy – screenprinting – and the process of Andy Warhol's art making, building on the theme of the original work and the visitor's experience of 'encountering' the art. The application gives a friendly, interactive, step-by-step explanation of the principles of screenprinting, and will result in your very own Campbell's Soup.
The application is an SNG original product authored by Igor Rjabinin and created in collaboration with the conservator Barbora M. Burianová and the curator Eva S. Kotláriková.
As well as online, the application can be used directly in the collection display at Zvolen Castle. Each visitor's completed work is stored in a temporary virtual gallery, evoking the seriality of Warhol's soup cans.
